How to use the command center to jump to pages, search records, create items, run workflows and start AI prompts from one keyboard-driven dialog.
The command center is a search dialog that works on every page of the app. Open it with Cmd+K on macOS or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, or select the search trigger in the sidebar. The dialog is titled "Command center" and its search field reads "Search pages, actions, and more".
What the command center offers depends on the navigation mode you are in (Organization, Customer or Admin) and on your permissions. You only see commands and records you are allowed to use.
Results are grouped in this order:

In an organization you can create a customer, task, product, quote, invoice or workflow, as long as you have the matching create permission. Create organization and View all organizations are always available because they live outside a tenant.
In Admin mode the command center adds Create workflow, Invite user and Run system workflow for administrators with the matching system.* permission.
Type at least one character to search records. The search waits briefly after you stop typing and then returns up to 24 results, mixed across record types so one type does not crowd out the others.

Open the command center, type part of the page title or record name, and press Enter on the result. Use the arrow keys to move between results and Escape to close the dialog.
CentraKit starts the run and opens its run page. See Workflows.
The AI group has three prompts: Ask AI to summarize this page, Ask AI to draft a follow-up and Ask AI to find related records. Each one opens the side-panel assistant with a draft message and the current page attached as context. The message is not sent until you review it and send it. See Chat.
The AI group only appears when AI is available for the organization and you can start chats.
Each command and record type uses the permission of the feature behind it.

GET /api/v1/command-center/search returns the same record results as the dialog. It takes these query parameters:

Each result has an id, kind, label, description, href and organizationId. The admin mode requires system.admin.access. Responses are never cached. See API and OpenAPI.
